This program is one of the educational options available for kindergarten through eighth grade students identified as intellectually gifted. Students may elect to participate in specialized enrichment courses at ARC as part of their total educational program. The students come from all of the Leon County elementary and middle schools as well as from private schools that choose to participate. Home-schooled gifted students are also welcome to attend.

This association was formed in 1993 and is a local affiliate of the Texas Association for the Gifted and Talented. Membership in AAGT is open to anyone wanting quality services for gifted students in the Austin area. Four General meetings are held each year and four newsletters are published as a parent education tool.

The Carrollton-Farmers Branch Association for the Gifted and Talented (C-FB AGT) is an independent, voluntary organization of parents, educators and friends of the gifted. D.C. Writers Corp is an organization in Washington, DC that targets middle/junior high school students because research suggests that this is the age where children start to lose interest in school. This is a premier gifted conference held each summer on the campus of Boise State University. The week-long conference is smaller in attendence, but has boasted some of the same keynotes and session presenters as the ASCD and NAGC conferences. It provides amazing opportunities for teachers in the west to work with some of the professionals of the field of gifted education. There is also a Parent Day, Kidfest, and an Administrator/Counselor Day.

This non-profit organization in Downers Grove, Illinois, has been a resource for gifted youth and their families for the past 26 years. FRoG co-sponsors a science fair, they offer enrichment programs on Saturdays and they have a support group for parents of gifted youth.
