The Gifted and Talented Development Center
Description
 
 
Supported by the Gifted and Talented Development Center, Inc., this camp is designed to offer enrichment opportunities for children. Morning classes are designed to stimulate the imagination with such classes as “And Justice for All”, “Robots Alive” and “Oklahoma!” The afternoon is an extension of the morning. It is full of more academic courses, athletic activities, such as, swimming and Tae Kwon Do, sports clinics and clubs. Students have the opportunity to choose to participate in the morning session, afternoon session or the full day of sessions.

My child and I were disappointed with the entire camp experience. There was no ability grouping, and the classes and sports were unorganized as a whole. The camp may be appropriate for mild to moderately gifted students but was not challenging for my child at all.
