This site provides links that help to put the Great Books into historical context. Profoundly gifted students interested in the classics, and homeschooling families who use a classical curriculum approach, will find many helpful scholarly sites here. This website is appropriate either for the teacher or homeschooling parent to use to strengthen their own background, or for students to use for personal or small group study.

I like this site although the web page has scant information on the periods from 1450-1820. There are many good links, which could be useful for a PG child's online research for home and school. The links point to biographical sketches, historical data, and more.
