Description

The Center for Development and Learning (CDL) is a private nonprofit mission-driven organization that specializes in the development and dissemination of leading edge research, knowledge, training and best practices from diverse yet related fields that impact educational success.

CDL was originally conceived to help turn the cycle of frustration and failure into hope and success for children with nontraditional learning profiles. Soon realizing that its work had broader application and was helping all children learn at higher levels, CDL was responsive and expanded its programming. CDL has proven programs that teach teachers how to teach all children so they can all learn to higher levels. Geographically, CDL serves first the children, parents, professionals, and community members of the Greater New Orleans region. Second, it serves citizens throughout the state of Louisiana. Next, CDL serves the mid-South region. Finally, through its newsletter, Web site, biennial summit, and educational publications, CDL disseminates information nationally and internationally.
