Our academic programs extend beyond the classroom to provide the best experiential education, from having one-on-one interviews with admissions counselors to walking Civil War battlefields to conversing with legislators. Students collaborate with a committed and creative faculty and enjoy a wide range of special events and social opportunities. During the day, immerse yourself in your chosen program of study. During the evenings, nights and weekends, enjoy spending time with the entire camp and exploring all that campus offers.

The Academic Camps at Gettysburg College are a great opportunity for kids in grades 9-12 to do something fun this summer, while learning at the same time. Some of the programs available include: College Prep and Preview, The Civil War, Creative Writing Workshop, Astronomy, Spanish Language & Culture, and Service and Leadership.
