This organization provides valuable information free of charge to member families regarding crucial state requirements for homeschooling, and interpretation of the very tricky language of bills and legislation on state and federal levels. For homeschoolers, the HSLDA provides crucial support for families who may be at the mercy of rigid school districts who are enforcing laws even they cannot interpret.

This site goes a step further with information than most homeschooling-help sites. It posts current news stories, state-by-state and international legislation, and even offers an "E-lert" service if you would like to subscribe. In Spanish too!
