I highly recommend this book. While I started reading this book two days ago and have only read about a third of the 550+ pages, I have found the book immensely fascinating in its insight into the development of these very gifted individuals. In fact, the book has already had an impact on us as a family in several ways. For example, my daughters, 8 and 10, are very interested in electronics and robotics and want to build robots. After I read some of the pages on mathematical talent development, where many of the teenagers used electronic kits to discover math and physics, my husband and I decided that we really should give the girls the opportunity to explore this area (even though money is tight). Unbeknownst to my daughters, my husband and I have bought them robot kits (beginner soldering level).
