Science News is a weekly magazine targeted at adults with a significant background in science. It is very concise; it has only about twelve pages of articles per issue. The only advertising in it, is for scientific books and educational materials.

A serious and advanced student of science will appreciate many of its articles, though few children or adults will have both the depth and breadth of scientific education to appreciate all of them fully. Don't overlook the advertisements: they will lead you to excellent resources as well.

This magazine is a great overview of some of the current research in science. There are tons of interesting facts and not a lot of ads like many of the other grown-up science magazines. I would highly recommend either subscribing to this magazine or checking issues out of the library.
