Description

"This game takes its name from the writings of a grand master of word games, William Shakespeare. Players take turns moving around a board trying to land on the appropriate letter-spaces to spell the particular Game Word chosen for each game. There are over 1000 cards with questions from 30 different categories divided into 6 levels of difficulty. Although the difficult questions are quite tricky, many of the questions will often prove you actually know more about words than you think. Fun for everyone, but a must-have for any English major. "

This is a great game. Learn all about eponyms, Briticisms, spoonerisms, and many more categories. This game is sure to expand your vocabulary and etymology knowledge. There are two versions: one for children, which can be challenging. The teen/adult version is definitely challenging.

If you like words, you'll enjoy this game! We have barely begun exploring Bethump'd. There is so much content and so many possible ways we might incorporate it into our homeschooling curriculum. It includes* The Story of English in Four Units* Bethump'd in the Interdisciplinary Setting* Bethump'd in Block Scheduling Programs* Bethump'd in Portfolio Assessment Systems* Bethump'd in Class.
