Description

The Wisconsin Center for Academically Talented Youth (WCATY) is proud to offer many opportunities for talented students in Wisconsin. These include on-line programs during the school year, and enrichment and accelerated courses through their residential programs during the summer months. In addition to these, WCATY is the Wisconsin affiliate for the Midwest Talent Search. The mission statement of WCATY is to provide programs and services that support, motivate, and challenge academically talented students in the state. WCATY's philosophy emphasizes that rigor in the curriculum, high expectations for student achievement, and a student's personal passion for learning must work in concert if talented students are to excel academically.

I have taken two distance learning classes and have really enjoyed them. They stimulate deep and critical thinking.
